Author and editor of studies and articles linked to her work on social communication, Silvia Luciani has also authored the novels 'A Journey through Sudan' (also available in Italian with the title 'I frutti acerbi del mango') and 'La Lettera', in Italian, and more recently the collection of short stories, 'Clouds'. She is also the author - in collaboration with Ada Di Frischia and Michael Spencer - of the cookbook 'La Cucina di Ada' (Ada's Kitchen), in English, freely available on the web site www.adacooksitaly.com She has translated into English the essay by her sister, psychoanalyst Emma Luciani, 'Letter to Those Who Have Lost a Loved One', and has contributed with her sister to the editing and publication of 'Cronache di Cornisella - Diario di un capostazione al confino' (in Italian), by her grandfather Ercole Luciani.
