My name is Simon Roy Hughes, and I was born in London in 1970. At the age of 21, I ran away to Sweden, then moved to Norway, where (in no particular order) I have earned my education, raised my kids, and settled down. I currently live in Bodø, a city about 100 km north of the Arctic circle. I am interested in all kinds of Norwegian and Scandinavian folklore, and in an effort to share these little-known stories with as many people as possible, I have begun to publish my original translations.
