When I was just four years old, my father bought me my first remote controlled car. I simply did not have a firm grasp of the English language at such a tender age so I called it a 'mote control car'. Some of my fondest memories was with that car; driving it around and racing my twin brother's car around the marble floor. You could say my love for science and technology began there. As a child, I enjoyed watching sci-fi shows like Stargate and Firefly; series that pushed the boundaries of what may be possible. From there, I developed a deep interest for physics; reading about concepts like relativity and quantum mechanics and how they related to more abstract concepts like time travel and parallel universes. My love for all things science inspired me to write this book. I do hope you enjoy it half as much as I enjoyed writing it.
