Diftong is singer/songwriter Hans “Dif” Willers. This volume contains selected lyrics of the songs he wrote between 1986 and 2006. His songwriting is inspired by great North American artists like Neil Young and The Gourds. Among his many favourite authors are Robert Pirsig, Magnus Mills, Alice Hoffman and Charles Bukowski.
Most of the lyrics in this volume were released on one of four albums:
"Bats in the Belfry (1993)", "The Understate Men (2002)", "The Understate Men – Propaganda (2003)" and "Diftong – Robot vs Totem Pole (2007)". Some will be released at a later time, no doubt.
