A Perfect Circle
The trilogy that started with Halfway, where John runs a red light in a godforsaken little town in Wyoming continues through hardships, near death for John, a wedding to Piera and receiving full custody of his son, Joey, when Joey’s biological mother went to prison.
The saga continued into the second book, Way Past Halfway, where friendships flourished, the little town of Halfway continues to grow. John’s bitterness and negative thoughts disappear and he and Piera get their house built on the acre, Chuck and Julie had given them, plus, Cody and Ann are their next door neighbor with their new house. John and Piera became parents of a little girl, Julie-Ann.
In A Perfect Circle, Joey’s dream of becoming a naval aviator became a reality when he is accepted into a new Navy program. He goes through flight school and becomes an F-18 pilot. Megan is studying to be a RN and works at the new ER building. Tragedy was avoided when Chuck and Cody were both wounded in a shootout with bank robbers. They both retired from their law enforcement jobs. John and Tim were awarded their Silver Star medals for heroism during the Vietnam War at a ceremony at the high school. Megan’s announcement to her mother Julie, when Megan was six or seven about she was going to marry Joey became true and on Christmas Eve, Joey and Megan announced Megan was going to have twins.
