The "Stalag Edition" is a rare, English-language version of Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf.
The English version was to be distributed in the UK once Operation Sea Lion, the planned invasion of Britain, was completed. This 'Operation Sea Lion Edition' was finalized and printed in the summer of 1940.
Once the invasion was called off by Adolf Hitler most copies were distributed to English speaking POW camp libraries.
The name "Stalag" originates from the German word Stammlager (POW camp) and the rubber library stamps found on surviving copies.
The Translation is the only officially complete, and unabridged English translation produced by the NSDAP central press. The original translator's name was never released and remains unknown.
