Meet Adrienne Bender who started her journey to motherhood as a teenager. Despite this she managed to get herself through university and become a registered psychiatric nurse. This is the story of her navigation through the storms of her life as a mother to 2 children who struggled with very different but fatal afflictions. This is her journey that included failed marriages death of her core family members, figuring out who she is and surviving the unthinkable. She has experienced the near miraculous recovery of her daughter from AML leukemia and her Son from addiction. Along her journey there were many miracles and unfortunately both her children lost their lives, her daughter in 2018 from GVHD after her stem cell transplant and her son in 2023 from fentanyl poisoning. This is a story of survival and finding rainbows in the storm
