Leuven Bonnet Knitting Pattern

This knitting pattern will help you make a bonnet just like the pictured one! The pattern comes in sizes from newborn to 6 years. There are: newborn, 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-24 months, 2-4 years and 4-6 years sizes included. Recommended yarn: any to obtain the gauge. Worsted or DK for regular look, or thinner yarn on larger needles for daintier look. This pattern's gauge is 20 st in 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch. You will need: yarn (up to 50g for the smallest sizes, up to 80g for the larger sizes), knitting needles, darning needle to weave in the yarn ends and to sew the back of the bonnet. Crochet hook in the same mm size as the knitting needles to make the ties (if you are making crochet ties – 4mm / G works for most). The bonnet is knit flat.
