Make a unique looking newborn romper using this knitting pattern!
The pattern comes in newborn size only.
It is meant to fit the baby for the first two weeks. It makes a great coming home from the hospital outfit, and it also is the size that is preferred by newborn photographers.
You will need: DK or Worsted yarn (up to 50 grams), knitting needles for the bib part (knit flat) and for the shorties part (knit in the round – double pointed needles or circular needle if you are doing magic loop) to obtain the gauge (this pattern's gauge is 20 sts in 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch), one stitch marker, three stitch holders or waste yarn, tapestry needle to graft the crotch gusset and to weave in the yarn ends. Crochet hook if you are making crochet ties or a ribbon if you are using a ribbon for the ties.
The entrelac bib knitting is explained step by step in the pattern.
