It makes a great coming home from the hospital outfit, and it also is the size that is preferred by newborn photographers. You will need up to 70 grams (for newborn size) / up to 150 grams (for the 6-12m size) of Aran yarn in the main color and a small amount of yarn in contrast color. This romper is knit in the round. You will need either double pointed needles or a circular needle to knit in the round (if you are using Magic Loop). You will also need a tapestry needle to weave in the yarn ends and to do the grafting. You will need one stitch marker, one button and a matching thread to sew on a button, one stitch holder.
