Sophisticated Entrelac Bonnet Knitting Pattern

This pattern involves a lot of stitch counting and it is not an easy or a quick knit, yet you do not have to be an experienced Entrelac knitter to be able to make it. This pattern is for intermediate or very adventurous knitters. It comes in newborn size, in 0-6 months size, in 6-12 months size, in 2-4 years size, in 5-10 years size and in 10 years to adult size This pattern’s gauge is 20 stitches in 4in / 10cm in stockinette stitch. There is a list of recommended yarns and needle sizes given in the pattern. This is not a super easy pattern and this is not a quick knit. But don’t be afraid! If you have never knit anything Entrelac before, it might test your patience more than once! It is not very difficult though – it just takes some time to get used to it and you will have to keep counting the stitches all the time. You will need yarn (up to 30 grams for the smallest size and up to 120 grams for the largest size) and knitting needles to obtain the gauge. Since this bonnet is knit flat, you can use any knitting needles you like. Also you will need a darning needle to weave in ends and to sew the back of the hat.
