The story takes place after nine eleven. Amira, an Arab Muslim woman, who after seeing her husband taken away by FBI agents, starts a journey where she is forced to rediscover herself. Not only does she have to learn from scratch what to most people is rudimentary like looking for a job,she also has to rediscover
her faith to help her keep going.
The entire nation has to rediscover its values and traditions as the age-old balance of security and civil liberties come under intense scrutiny.
With the bad comes many good as Amira makes headway in quite a few channels through which she is trying to not only raise the issue of her husband's plight but also bring into limelight others' ordeals as well.
