Snowdrift Diaries takes place in the harsh winter of 1942, when a crew gets stuck in a snow drift on the Camino, Placerville & Lake Tahoe R.R. They make it to a small shelter where they are forced to stay until they are found. As the cold creeps over them, their patience and minds run thin. In this isolation, dread slowly takes hold of them reminiscing on the past is the only thing to keep them from losing hope.
