The Trinity and Jesus' Divinity

For generations, a persistent misconception has quietly influenced the landscape of biblical reading: the assumption that high Christology and the doctrine of the Trinity are late theological inventions. Critics and casual readers alike frequently assert that the concept of a triune Godhead was retroactively forced onto the text by fourth-century church councils—a philosophical framework supposedly alien to the strict monotheism of the Hebrew prophets. The Old Testament whispers His name through creation, prophecy, and type; the Gospels unveil Him in flesh and blood; and the Book of Revelation crowns Him as the Lord of glory.
