IN MEMORIAM

This is a solo guitar piece composed by Ben Monder and recorded on his album, "Dust." My arrangement is orchestrated for trumpet, trombone, alto/soprano saxophone (double), tenor saxophone, bass clarinet, two violins, viola, and cello. It is most effective if all string parts are doubled. It can be heard on the recording "Alan Ferber: Music for Nonet & Strings, Chamber Songs" (Sunnyside).
