In reaction to the continuing growth of digital photography, I Dream Some Nights Of A Funny Sea is a collection of portraits shot on film as a way to preserve the art of traditional photography. Shot during three separate photo shoots, all photos remain uncropped and undoctored from their original form. Three distinct sets of photographs are housed together in this collection, with each section portraying a formally dressed model posing with an eccentric prop. Section one (in two Parts) shows a pair of women posing with an exceptionally large number of balloons. Section two depicts a young women wearing a pair of wings. Finally, section three captures a young man wearing an unconventional hat. Together the three sets of photographs depict a group of people living a somewhat manipulated existance—one where reality is present, but often obscured by the nonsensical.
