WARPED

One day in early 2026 Spring, I sat on my Russian oak chair and suddenly the idea of an English poem collection came up, “Warped”. Yes, the title of this very collection. It just sprung out of my mind without much pondering and deep thinking. After writing for a while, rhymes came to me even in dreams. I do not know if this is a curse or blessing. Some people like it, but there is also a trap that you become harnessed and bound into your words and it is not necessarily a happy thing to many writers. “Live by your words, also die by your words”, so to say. However, the conventional wisdom in the authorship world is that, “you consider yourself dead after each book you write”. And you have to accept that fact. So “Warped” has been born. And I write this with much love and care and joy and appreciation. I enjoy every single word and every single moment I sit tossing with this English collection. It reminded me of the moment when I practiced reciting the Prajnaparamita Sutra and mantra back in 2011. All of a sudden I was sucked into a huge void of which state has followed me ever since. “Gone, gone beyond, gone completely beyond” is the mantra’s translation. I am not really taking the trip to a specific place in space, rather the mind has reached the final shore and I started my personal spiritual journey alone ever since. Every moment is a time warp, even the moment back in the past when I was small. Every moment is three times: past, present and future- transcended.
