Making Play? Making Space! explores how play and placemaking are intricately connected and interwoven into the fabric of people’s daily lives both individually and collectively. Drawing together personal stories and reflections of people from different social and professional backgrounds, this book not only marks the culmination of a 2-year socially engaged art project by Play Depot, but also encourages us all to reimagine ourselves as an active innovator, maker, facilitator and provider, rather than a passive consumer of things.
