Basics for the Heart

Twenty-first century America is experiencing great upheavals and consternation. Our country is experiencing bad economic conditions, our schools are suffering and our medical system is no longer working. Yet great things are being accomplished by normal citizens, the problem is that we do not hear about them. We are a fearful nation: afraid of foreign powers, terrorists who seem to be lurking everywhere and ourselves. Where can people go to be renewed? The major premise of this book was to find out how Jesus, who lived 2000 years ago, could be a viable influence in the 21st century. How could His life and teachings bring us the solace, strength and hope in our day?
