About Dr. Alica Neal

On March 19th, 1995, Pastor Dr. Alica Neal was born in Reidsville, North Carolina to Evang. Carol J. Lawson and the late Thomas W. Neal. She is the youngest sibling of their 3 children. Alica was called to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ at 16 years old and publicly submitted to the call on May 6th, 2012 at the age of 17. Overall, her passion is equipping leaders with the tools they need to properly exegete and rightly divide the Word of God. Thereof she has had numerous opportunities to train churches and ministry leaders on a college level concerning the principles of Homiletics, Exegesis and Intercessory Prayer. With God’s help, she has self-published 15 books along with doing her own graphic designs for her projects of which there are more to come. As far as her early education, she has the following: High School Diploma from Rockingham Early College High School (2013) and Advanced Certificate in Christian Education from Living Epistle Bible College (2015). In October 2018, she was ordained an Elder in the Lord’s Church. In April 2021, she was licensed as a Pastor. Currently, per her recent education, in May 2023, Pastor Neal obtained her Masters of Divinity. Then, in May 2025, received her Doctor of Ministry at Living Epistle Bible College 2.0. She serves as the Executive Pastor of MBC in Burlington, NC and she is the Overseer of Education for the Southern Region of Shabach under her spiritual father and Pastor, Dr. Keith K. Curry.
