Alida Segal, the author of 5 books in English, holds the B.S.(88), and M.S.(92) degrees in computer science from the City University of New York - CCNY and her Master Thesis about the RSA security model, was included in her book "New Trends in Cryptology".
At NYU Poly, she pursued a Ph.D. degree in computer science, and conducted research about adaptive, and optimization genetic algorithms.
At McGill University, she conducted PhD research about McCAT compiler hybrid points-to- analysis, at ACAPS. Her PhD research projects are included in her book "Pattern Recognition Applications".
Alida Segal's professional programming experience includes : AT&T Execu-Bill, AT&T Worldnet, Lucent LMOS , IBM ProductManager, IBM ITIRC /Stairs, Lockheed Martin Travel Expense Spreadsheet, BRASS, Prism, SAM, ITS-AIR, NVTS, NVG, color blending algorithms.
Recently, she has been lecturing undergraduate computer courses. She wrote two other books about poetry and a memoir.
