Environmental Control Systems I - 2020 Case Studies Ebook

Case studies of building performance are conducted by student teams in the University of Oregon Environmental Control Systems class as a 5-week project. Student residences are selected with topics of interest related to energy use, thermal comfort, solar performance, shading, indoor air quality, passive and active strategies, material research, and heat transfer. Work is presented as a poster and a technical paper. Each project goes through a rigorous technical, peer-review, after which several projects are selected for the Case Study Hall of Fame.
