Emma: Eighth Grade

As Emma Olsen enters her eighth grade year at Pioneer Middle School, she is in love with a boy named Josh and, in the midst of her anxiety and depression, has hope for her future. However, those hopes are soon dashed as Emma discovers a dirty secret that Josh has been hiding from her, and her bullies do something so terrible to Emma that she is mentally scarred for months afterwards. Emma thinks that all is lost, but she soon meets two new friends who help support her through her tough times. But will her support system be enough to keep Emma afloat as she uncovers the results of a mistake she had made; something that could possibly change her life forever?
