Architecture Group Project for an urban framework design project.It is important to note the subtle difference between a master plan and an urban framework. A master plan is a specific design intended to be realized as drawn. An urban framework is not as prescriptive but rather defines limits or parameters. It defines guidelines for density, massing, the location of the program, building typologies and typical street sections. It allows more freedom and flexibility in the actual realization than a masterplan.
