About Amina Bhimla

AMINA BHIMLA is a Canadian Poet, jewelry designer and artist. Born in Quebec and living in Ontario, she has been writing poetry since the early 1990's. She has always been artistic and enjoyed art class as a child and in her teens. It was in high school when she began to explore that venue more. It has always been thru art that she expressed herself best. She has recently decided to explore those options once again and take a new look into those artistic abilities. In writing poetry, her world changed. She enjoyed it so much that for many years it was all she concentrated in life. She has never looked back. Her second poem was featured in her high school yearbook publication. She began volunteering for a local community journal, The Ambition. She was one of the Writing Committee Members for the journal for five years. She has self-published several poetry books: Blinding Colors, Every Word, Amongst The Branches, as well as an eczema health book: The Journey Deep Within.
