Leave Her In The Rye follows the lives of a derailing child prodigy, a hedonistic hippy, an atheist Christian rockstar and a lonely guy convinced that he can dream the future who are all strangers with three things in common; They’re all twenty years old, They’re all struggling with their identity and they’re about to discover that they are fictional characters in a novel and nothing they know or feel actually exists. Become absorbed in their existential paradise as they face the heartbreaking truth of their existence and find yourself examining your own. Is simply existing enough or are we capable of so much more? LHITR is a story of compassion, control, youth, loss, dreams, addiction, religion, resentment, life, identity, letting go and that burning human desire to have our lives mean something. It’s that desperate struggle between who you are and who you want to be.
