Summer Stevenson, a young girl who was forced by circumstances to become a woman sooner than she should have. Her mother started living a destructive life, because she couldn’t handle the sudden death of her youngest son; she sometimes used Summer to cure her ills. Her mother was sent to prison where she committed suicide. After her mom’s death, her father became isolated and her older brother went away to college. Without having anyone to tell Summer about life, she fell for an older man who got her pregnant when she was sixteen years young; she realized that he was abusive and had to escaped. The people closes to her have misused her to where she has no need for love. Summer’s goal is to break as many hearts and use as many men as she can, why not? Through her struggle she managed to land a good job writing for a popular magazine, where she met Kaleb; the man that proved to her that love is real, but when Summer was left waiting at the Altar for her Prince, he was held up.
