Time is elusive, slipping away unnoticed yet leaving deep marks in our memories. This collection of poems and photo diary, Time Capsule, captures my poems and daily images from the fall of 2020 to the summer of 2024. During a time when the world seemed to come to a halt, my life found an outlet of expression through words and images. Forty poems, accompanied by spontaneous snapshots, document the emotional fluctuations, world changes, and the everyday moments of this unique period. Poetry and imagery intertwine, like opening a series of long-sealed capsules, each holding a true emotion ，memory，and a fleeting visual impression from that moment. The pandemic slowed down the world, giving me the opportunity to reflect on the essence of life, the flow of time, and the relationship between me and my surroundings. This book is a time capsule I dedicate to myself over the past four years, with the hope that when it is opened again, the warmth, light, and shadows of that time can still be felt. Ann Fong
