In searching for conscious oneness, I first embraced Paradise as a place of undifferen¬tiated bliss. “What you don’t know …” One with animals and nature I remained asleep to my full potential to play a part in the human drama. I had to leave Eden and travel away from the seeming comfort of not knowing.
Over three years these depictions of my journey made themselves visible through dreams and meditation. One by one, and not necessarily in order, they pervaded my consciousness. Often the wait between images was long and frustrating. I knew I was being led to new discoveries, but I often felt as if I was wandering in the desert without water. Thirsty for guidance I learned patience.
Not until I saw the completed pictures in full color did I become aware of the progress my creative soul was undergoing.
