The futuristic story of Naomi's quest for a non-material, spiritual existence during the final decades of earth's habitability, this saga begins with Naomi's journey to reunite her mother and father in the Hidden Valley where they have sequestered the last few exotic animals not yet eaten by the meat-crazed remnant of survivors from the Last War. As she grows up, she finds herself in a death struggle with an evil entity named Mbanta Policimus. Her victory at the trial for treason is pyrrhic, for she must sacrifice her own new-born daughter to his purpose. Her beloved country falls into tyranny and violence, and finally, she herself is facing prison and death, when her salvation comes from an unexpected source.
