Thirty Years in the Desert

How did a group of Germans from Russia come together among cactus, dry heat and scorpions in the Arizona desert? Our history has taken us from the steppes of Russia to the arid land of the desert. Creating the Arizona Sun Chapter demanded persistence and industriousness. Keeping the organization together required ingenuity and the ongoing efforts of members. The Sun Chapter celebrates our 30 year anniversary in style in February 2008. Our members contributed their stories to create this keepsake book of our German-Russian ancestry. Our reflections combined with photographs of our last 30 years document our organization’s unique past. All proceeds for this book are donated to the Arizona Sun Chapter.
