Penny's War

Penny is Midge's Grandmother. When Midge asks her to tell her about her wartime childhood this is the story Penny tells. Penny and her brother, Peter, are evacuated from London to the safety of a Yorkshire village. They are billeted on a couple who turn out to be German spies. When they find out what their hosts are doing they are in great danger. Locked in a burning house - how can they escape?
