The Female Defender

The Female Defender is a novel about a uniformed police officer who rescues women and young girls from being victimized by deviant criminals. The undercover name that she uses is Renee Merlot. Her real name is Margaret Lafayette. Her boss, Wesley Jasper is a police detective who like Renee has Native American ancestors who had powers of premonition. Together they use these powers or premonitions to solve crimes. After Renee trains to be a law enforcement agent, some of the men who have manipulated her in the past come back in her life to scare her and prevent her from living her life peacefully. With the assistance of her Father’s cousin, John, she meets her ancestor Chief Iron Shield's for the first time and is bestowed with powers of premonition and kinesthetic information and directions to determine when and where the next crime will take place and who it is that she must save.
