This dissertation examines observations and interest in the importance of understanding what drives the Hispanic market as far as graphic design is concerned. The research and results illustrate the design components which appeal to differing Hispanic segments. It gives specific results and details of how to target the Hispanic demographic. The study analyzes various forms of print advertisements to find current trends for this increasing and highly influential group. The main motivation was to develop ways to interpret design patterns in order to become a successful designer when stereotypes seem to be commonly known. The author covers preferences regarding color schemes, font options and overall design layouts. The observations and data will give you, the viewer, more of an insight to what this particular group of consumers is demanding.
