Saving the Week

Every superpower has a drastic side effect. For Rhodey, that superpower may be a little worse than he originally thought. Despite being considered one of the greatest superheroes right off the bat, things turn grave really quick. No one he’s helped is really safe—within one week’s time, anyone he’s saved will die in some wild, unforeseen way. Now, all that’s left is to decide how to use his power, knowing its repercussions. The pressure from civilians and other heroes alike starts to get to him. Everyone seems to have their own answer to the question: How can such a power be used for good? A queer, new adult novel exploring trauma and superpowers. Content: Book should be appropriate for teen audience, contains some violence, tough scenes, and curse words but generally follows a PG-13 rating.
