CARDEN OF TONBRIDGE: 2007

Family history of the branches of the Carden family originating in Penshurst and Chiddingstone which are villages near Tonbridge in the western part of the English county of Kent, from the 17th century, with links to the 12th century Cardens of Cheshire. Family trees, minibiographies of about 700 Cardens, photographs and much else, including a report on a gathering in 2004 at the Bottle Inn, Penshurst. Revised November 2007, with many changes, especially as regards the Loraine, Speldhurst, Rusthall, Hooe and Naremburn/Roseville branches. Further minor revisions 2010.
