This book is written by the Danish blogger and philosopher Asger Trier Engberg (www.rubicon.dk). Trier Engberg has been very influential in world affairs since his debut 15 years ago, initially as an Islam critic and later as a peace advocate. Asger was part of the Vilks committee that was attacked five years ago by a terrorist.
In the course of his work, he has delved into a range of themes like economy, law, metaphysics, strategy, and art. This book has come about because one of the least understood aspects of the Hamas attack against Israel was the dismissal of Asger from his role as a journalist at his TV station, TV Freedom, by the Danish state. Since Asger was the de facto guarantor of peace between Islamists and Israel in the Middle East due to his extensive work during the Arab Spring, his downfall and subsequent troubles inspired Hamas to attack Israel.
This book is an attempt to understand what went wrong from Asger's perspective and to propose solutions to these problems. Since the breakout of the war, Asger has been an adamant supporter of the peace process in the Middle East, with respect for Israel, but also an attempt to minimize the war's impact, which has the potential to spark a third world war.
