A Fairytale Ending

This is the story of either a woman who lost herself in girlhood or a girl who lost herself in womanhood. This is the story of a drug addict who strives for recovery and longs to find her place in the world. But the focus does not end there. Follow the lost and wounded June Bug as she goes through her journey of love and revival. Our play joins her just before the possibly drug related death of her dear friend, Keri. After his cremation, June gets caught in a vortex of faith, theology, philosophy, drugs, recovery, sex, lust, love, and hope. From the talking feline to the theft of a dead man's ashes and the overseas adventure that follows, the entire story culminates in finding the love of a lifetime, saying last farewells, and making the ultimate sacrifice in the name of the great and powerful Keri Boone.
