Simkhe d' Siprayouta 2026

This volume is the printed edition of the online Assyrian journal Simkhe d’ Siprayouta, comprising Issues 25 and 26, originally published in 2026. The journal is dedicated to the publication of literary works by contemporary Assyrian writers and poets. These issues continue the translation of a selection of important historical studies on Mesopotamian literature, the family in ancient Mesopotamia, and the renowned Library of Ashurbanipal. They also feature a number of new articles that we hope will be of particular interest to our readers. The Announcement sections of both issues present recently published books in the Assyrian language, new Assyrian journals, and websites of interest to the Assyrian scholarly and cultural community.
