They say the grass is always greener on the other side; it looked that way to Mickey O'Brien anyway. His life as a twentysomething stoner in a quiet Irish village was nothing short of tedious, the occasional joint his only escape. A disastrous week in summer 2010 finally pushed Mickey to move on. However after two years of residence in London, life was not much better. At least he had found a new pal to get caned with. Mark Roberts lived underneath his parents' Croydon home. The pair emerge hazily from “the bunker” one Monday afternoon, having smoked an ounce of Blueberry skunk. However during the three day binge they have spent indoors, everything outside has changed. Millions are dead, the nation is on its knees and England will never be the same again! Well almost... despite the apocalypse, it's bizarre how quickly life returns to the same old issues: love, hate, money, greed, politics and even war!
