On the Clara Town football pitch, unknown to the young George Wleh, he becomes an object of Jealousy by the popular Ligori Sekajipo, whose talent reigns superior among their juvenile peers. Rooted in hearsays, Ligori’s premature resentment is justified when he sees the ten year old George exhibiting his soccer flair for the first time. Mesmerized by the boy’s effortless display, Ligori inadvertently finds himself evolving into an obsession, underpinned by a protracted envy, spanning over four decades. Failing to outshine what he considers his nemesis after years of competing in international soccer leagues, the defeated Ligori, although a financial success, resigns to a chronological reflection and examination of his lifetime fixation.
