HOMUNCULUS

The Homunculus is a vicious humanoid creature that is created from an alchemy tome and terrorizes a small Northern Michigan community. A rash of gruesome attacks ignites area locals to search the woods for cougars while tribal elders, police, and back woods meth cookers are all brought into the action. A tone of Native spirituality contrasts with the progression of increasingly heinous acts committed by the local people, and the disturbing fusions of human/animal abominations created by the Homunculus. Drug dealers, bullying high school kids and corrupt police all get their just desserts as the protagonist returns to his tribal roots, saves his love interest from destruction, and triumphs over the dark forces of man and monster that are at work against him.
