Island Rock

Ozu is a city boy struggling with a crushing case of social incompetence who decides to reinvent himself on the quiet, remote island of Kamishima. To gain acceptance from the locals, he spins a wild lie about his background, inadvertently convincing the entire island community that he is a mainland musical prodigy. Now, trapped between his newfound reputation and his actual anxiety-ridden self, Ozu must navigate island life alongside the hyper-energetic Chinatsu. As he balances managing his confusing online business infrastructure and keeping his musical charade alive, Ozu realizes that the weight of his lie is heavy, but the connections he’s forging might just be the most real thing he’s ever had
