
This book is intended as an introduction to basic arrhythmia interpretation. It is important the beginner develops excellent and accurate skills to establish an excellent base on which to build.
The main part of the book focuses on the identification of the basic rhythms themselves. It is presented in a step by step approach. Rhythms are divided into categories of where the rhythm originates from. Sinus, atrial, junctional and ventricular. Each rhythm will have five identifying features (rules), a rhythm strip with the features that need to be completed. Once all of the “clues” have been detected, the rhythm is interpreted. Possible causes of the rhythm and interventions are discussed to round out the page.
The last part of the book is workshop. Practice does make perfect! The answers are included so you can build your confidence.
