EVACUATION TO CENTRAL ASIA

This is a different World War II perspective. People fled deep into the Soviet Union and into the Central Asian Republics of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan to avoid the terror of the invading German Army. This book codifies historical facts and testimonies of many Jews and other refugees who managed to survive the war. It includes six original testimonies of survivors who as children experienced the trauma of upheaval of their lives, loss of family members and starvation.
