SILKS WITH ROSES

Pat's childhood love of horses leads her into the world of horse racing where she has the chance to become a female apprentice jockey. At first she becomes the new joke of the all male world of racing, but her ready wit, charm and the ability to hold her own among them earns her the respect she quietly demands. She falls in love with and marries her trainer's son, but with her success their lives begin to take very different paths. Striving every day to be a winner has its downside.
