The aliens decide to remove these grappling gals from their stasis pods and see if there is a cultural difference in fighting styles across a mere 50 years of societal evolution. And so as not to freak the girls out, they use a simple form of bio-hypnosis to make the girls feel completely natural in their environment (surrounded by a cheering crowd of the alien crew).
