How To Use the Naskapi Lexicon Second Edition

This is a handbook to accompany the the Naskapi Lexicon Second Edition (two volumes). It contains a description of the lexicon and lessons about how to look up Naskapi or English words in the lexicon. The First Edition of the Naskapi Lexicon was published by NDC in 1994. During the 30 years since then, the NDC Language and Culture Department team continued to correct, improve and add to the Naskapi dictionary database. The Second Edition of the Naskapi Lexicon was completed and published in 2024. With more and more Naskapi speakers growing in their interest in reading and writing their language, this resource was prepared to accompany the new edition to help you learn to use your new lexicon more effectively.
