The story that this book portrays, revolves around a life spent torn mainly between the two continents of Europe and Africa and bears witness to some brutal, and racist atrocities on both sides of the Atlantic during the 1980’s. The South African conflict started in the early 60’s earnestly with the events at Sharpville and the communist led black power movement under the guise of the ANC grew at an astounding rate from this event onwards. The atrocities were committed during the years of apartheid by all sides and then by the criminal syndicates that arose and grew in strength during the years of reconciliation, when the ANC eventually came to power in South Africa.
