Penrod Expurgated

A wonderful coming-of-age story about a boy eleven going on twelve who gets himself into more trouble than any one lad should. From his improvised circus to the Great Tar Fight, there are plenty of laughs and a few touching moments as well. Few authors have quite so well captured those halcyon days when a boy is just about to start becoming a man. This is the expurgated version, with offensive phrases deleted.
